Support workers

During our short breaks and respite care for children with special needs, our highly trained staff are on-hand at all times. During each short break, they accompany children and young adults offsite to visit local shops, the cinema, restaurants, and other cultural and recreational venues.

Our Respite Homes

We have two live short break homes that we use to provide respite care for children with SEND.
We offer breaks from one or two nights per week or for longer periods, depending on the specific care needs of each individual.
Each of our two short break homes accommodates a maximum of 3 children or young people.
Our respite SEND short breaks provide an individual bedroom, a personalized care plan and shared use of the communal living spaces with other individuals of their own age and interests.

Testimonial “Care was consistent, we got to build a relationship with our carers. They where compassionate and respectful. The managers where hands on and had nursing knowledge and experience. Communication between staff was excellent which was then cascaded down to us. Their uniform and dress code was clean professional and consistent. They spoke with respect, humility. They were a blessing”

Our short breaks provision includes access to a full range of recreational activities, including:

Arts, crafts and music
Sports
Cooking and backing
Visits to and from local community groups

Care can be tailored to allow access to sensory rooms, providing a calming and relaxing environment as well as offering stimulation and enhanced learning through play
